The reason for this rating is because of the staff. It started with a very bad experience. I queued up at the reception counter for check in and when I went up to this staff, I was told to go back to the queue to wait for his colleague instead. A few minutes later, he called me to go to him again. He was very impatient and unfriendly in dealing with me. Later he asked me to pay $15.15 for tax. So I gave him a 100 EUR note and 25 cents. When he gave me back the change, I thought I heard him wrongly as he only gave me back 35 EUR and 10 cent. But within split seconds, I questioned him if the tax is $50.15 or $15.15. Sounded very impatiently, he told me it's $15.15 and I tried to verify a couple times with him. So I told him if it's $15.15, the change he gave me is incorrect. He then started to keep questioning me if I am sure he gave me the wrong change. I showed him the change I got from him and he even repeatedly questioned me if I have put the correct change in my wallet and took out less cash to show him. I was pretty angry as he was almost trying to indicate that I am lying. He then told me he would have to count his cash in his cashier to verify that I indeed recieve wrong change from him. I was pretty offended by the way he questioned me and talked to me. So i told him he can check my wallet if he wants to, as evidently there wasn't a 50 EUR note in my wallet. He only gave the change back to me after he counted all his cash in his cashier and didn't properly apologise as well (he simply whispered softly my apologies without even looking at me!). I can't believe this is how a big hotel chain staff treat their customer. Also we requested for baby cot for the room. It wasn't setup in the room when we checked in. Then someone just knocked at the door and handed us a folded travel cot and a rather filthy mattress and left. Didn't even set it up for us. Very bad experience with the staff. We didn't feel welcome at all. The room is dated and noisy with the train sound.
