Very well located in Amsterdam. Corridors a bit noisy. So easy to reach from the station. Avoid breakfast and eat in the many places you can find in the city or the station. Very close to the city center so you can enjoy your trip easily.

All is perfect, great locations with very friendly staff and excellent restaurant on 1 floor with very well-draft beer ;-) Room is more or less good, only the bathroom could be a little bigger. For those who feel bad noise, they must always look for rooms that look at the bicycle garage.

My partner and I recently stayed here and it was a lovely comfortable room. The bathroom was small but was equipped with a hair dryer and toiletries so it wasn’t a problem. The bed was so comfortable and the safety deposit box was an added bonus. The location was fantastic, a train from the airport takes you directly there and the centre is a few minutes walk away. The staff where friendly and help full and allowed us to check in early without any issues. The little shop at reception was handy for drinks and snacks. We didn’t have breakfast here as everything is so local and the bar is under renovation so wasn’t in use. All in all pleasant stay and we’re definitely booking here again for our next trip.

Staff is fantastic, rooms are acceptable, location is great although a bit noisy from trains. Construction at the restaurant at 9:15AM in the morning with manual sawing and sawzall. Dust flying everywhere and extreme noise level to give indigestion. Mgmt may be genius to chase away guests from breakfast buffet to keep cost low or incompetent to schedule renovation during breakfast hours at the restaurant.

Reception was not really friendly. Very strange set up with this booth in the middle Breakfast personnel absent Check out : same bad experience with unfriendly personnel However the location is perfect

We stayed for 2 nights after a river cruise from Budapest. We chose Ibis as close to Station and walking distance from where boat docks. The check in was not good as we had to wait for nearly 2 hours for a room and noticed others arriving after us getting checked in and room keys. The room was OK a bit small for the price. The location is good and probably OK for an overnight stay. We would not stay here again but book a smaller hotel in the Central Amsterdam or Dam Square area as I think the service would be better.

Nice clean hotel friendly staff.Had a nice room overlooking the river. Location is very central right next to the Central rail station and easy to walk to all the main tourist locations and tram office nearby for tickets for longer trips

Decided to stop over in Amsterdam for a night on our way to Brussels, and we definitely made the right choice with this hotel. The hotel staff, top to bottom, made the stay enjoyable and relaxing starting from the check in until check out the next day. Nice restaurant / bar as well! Thanks again!

The location of the hotel is very convenient, being so close to the train station. As all my meetings were near it, and since it gave me direct access to the airport, it was fantastic. The staff were also all very attentive and welcoming, as well as understanding with my hearing problem at the time. The hotel itself is quite nice, I'd say a step up above the standard ibis hotels, and the free treats were very much appreciated.

When ever possible I always book with Ibis. I had stayed at this hotel before and knew how convenient it was located and the quality of service. As always this was excellent. Lovely friendly staff and super stay. The only downside was having a triple room meant no tea/coffee facilities in the room!

The hotel is very convenient. It is near the train, tram and bus stations. Its a walking distance to Dam square. Felt very welcome, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is nice although a little small for a party of 3 with big luggage but that doesnt bother us at all.

I booked twin room by mistake ,realising my mistake I emailed hotel immediately to explain, to change to double which was advertised at the same price , the hotels reply was prompt and was promised they would do there best to change ,and just to make sure I also sent emails before we travelled to make sure..... but on arrival to hotel we were given a twin room ! the hotel was clean well run and staff friendly but WONT recommend ! staff /management obviously don't honour requests or read emails Plenty of great hotels in Amsterdam so I will not be returning

My second stay at this hotel. This time I chose the city side room which I guess is a bit smaller and older than the rooms in the other wing overlooking the IJ river. The air-conditioner was a bit noisier and heating not too good. Still the hotel has a great Central location walking distance from the Centraal station, damrak, dam square and the tram hub . There is a bicycle stand in front of the hotel and a bicycle rental next door. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and serves great breakfast. Staff is friendly and service is good. By Amsterdam standards, the hotel is on the affordable side. Great option for exploring Amsterdam.

We had a small but comfortable room overlooking the canal. Quick check-in an out, staff very freindly and efficient. Walked or took tram to and from the museum district -- tram passes for sale at front desk. If you are arriving and/or leaving by train, this is the place.

Expensive and no breakfast included, it was 14 euros more for breaksfast for each day and per person. The heat was high even when we lower it. The good thing is that is close to Central Station anddam Square.

IBIS Amsterdam Centraal is one of the best you can get for your stay no taxi needed just walk around i the city nice restaurants close by and you are 100 meters from a Canal Cruise nice ... Just do it stay there ....

Great location, hotel is clean and close to everything and station. The room could do with a mini bar or fridge. Check in and check out was easy and quick. 15 minutes by train to airport which is a bonus. everyone in walking distance!

Hotel is in a great location--next to Centraal Station. Easy to get to/from the Schipol Airport and a major center for the trams that can take you all over the city. Hotel is modern, clean and the staff are friendly.

I stayed at this hotel before and find the location convenient. Some of the rooms are across the rail tracks which can be a bit noisy. This time I stayed on the city centre side and found the rooms extremely cramped. The door open almost against the bed. The bathroom is equally cramped. We left the bathroom door open to allow for some space to dry oneself.

The reason for this rating is because of the staff. It started with a very bad experience. I queued up at the reception counter for check in and when I went up to this staff, I was told to go back to the queue to wait for his colleague instead. A few minutes later, he called me to go to him again. He was very impatient and unfriendly in dealing with me. Later he asked me to pay $15.15 for tax. So I gave him a 100 EUR note and 25 cents. When he gave me back the change, I thought I heard him wrongly as he only gave me back 35 EUR and 10 cent. But within split seconds, I questioned him if the tax is $50.15 or $15.15. Sounded very impatiently, he told me it's $15.15 and I tried to verify a couple times with him. So I told him if it's $15.15, the change he gave me is incorrect. He then started to keep questioning me if I am sure he gave me the wrong change. I showed him the change I got from him and he even repeatedly questioned me if I have put the correct change in my wallet and took out less cash to show him. I was pretty angry as he was almost trying to indicate that I am lying. He then told me he would have to count his cash in his cashier to verify that I indeed recieve wrong change from him. I was pretty offended by the way he questioned me and talked to me. So i told him he can check my wallet if he wants to, as evidently there wasn't a 50 EUR note in my wallet. He only gave the change back to me after he counted all his cash in his cashier and didn't properly apologise as well (he simply whispered softly my apologies without even looking at me!). I can't believe this is how a big hotel chain staff treat their customer. Also we requested for baby cot for the room. It wasn't setup in the room when we checked in. Then someone just knocked at the door and handed us a folded travel cot and a rather filthy mattress and left. Didn't even set it up for us. Very bad experience with the staff. We didn't feel welcome at all. The room is dated and noisy with the train sound.
