Great location easy walk to most places, good amenities, clean, small compared to most hotels but big enough for a very comfortable visit. Would go back there for next trip to Melbourne. Staff very friendly
Just a 100 metre walk to Queen Victoria Markets, Tram stop, restaurants in every direction, 10 minute walk from Lygon St. Reception staff are very knowledgeable, and professional, restaurant on site, good breakfast. Taxi rank outside
Great value for location, comfortable rooms and easy access to the city via public transport and walking distance. Queen Vic market also walking distance. Parking is very tight but still accessible. Staff very friendly and helpful
A well located IBIS apartment but some improvements needed. This appears to be an office block converted into apartments. Basic IBIS accommodation as you would expect for the price but great to have a microwave, large fridge, tea/coffee, toaster available to use. Air conditioning was stifling HOT and we asked this to be fixed every day - it didn't seem to get fixed as our nights were spent sweating like we were spending a night in Bangkok! Rooms were not always cleaned properly which was disappointing. Well located to Queen Vic Markets, the CBD and Lygon Street. Also on the "free tram zone".
Room was very hot. Air did not work. Hallway smelled like a restaurant. Restaurant service was good but that was the only thing acceptable about it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances.
So welcoming and accommodating. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. As Gold Accor members they made sure we were looked after along with upgrades, chockies in the room and drink vouchers. Well situated would stay again.
Great Valued Hotel close to cafe's, shops and public transport, first time i have stayed at this hotel but definitely will be back. staff were great and the rooms were clean, tidy, quite and quite modern
Close to Melbourne Uni. Close to markets. Close to CBD. Finally reasonably priced. Although the room had no view, once your eyes are closed in a comfortable bed there is no need for a view. We recommend for those that want proximity to the above.
Good location with parking onsite. Quick check in was good as was fast check out. Rooms very clean and somewhat better than we expected for the price. The Ibis Kitchen was warm and inviting. We will stay again
Location is ideal as handy to all facilities and public transport. Check in/check out was quick and efficient. Room was clean and well maintained during our 7 night stay. Staff went out of their way to assist us. Have stayed here on previous trips to Melbourne.
This is our second stay at this hotel. Great location, conveniently located next to Queen Victoria Market. Reasonable price. Quick and fast, hassle free check-in and out. For improvement, Housekeeping have to replace same number of towers they took away. It happen few times, luckily, the replenishment almost immediately after I call.
Great place for the family, good size rooms easy walking distance to Melbourne CBD, Queen Victoria Markets, Museum and parks and gardens. Off-street parking was good although a bit tight to enter and exit. Best continental breakfast spread I ever had.
I was welcomed by the staff at 7:50 in the morning, and got early check-in successfully. I also had a decent breakfast. The network speed is high and robust. A very nice experience although not being upgraded.
IBIS Melbourne was the Best IBIS Hotel I ever stayed at ! My special thanks to Mr. Josh, main hotel manager. My room and services were brillant ! Besides this hotel is very well located, near Melbourne Central Market and main roads. Thank you !
Hotel is conveniently located, and is very close to Victoria Market & the CBD Tram stop. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The wi-fi connection was ok. Amenities like vending machine and laundry machines are available.
Stayed at the Ibis to go to Kinky Boots. We were upgraded which was lovely. We had a short but lovely stay at the Ibis . Excellent service was had a check in and check out. The venue was clean and with in walking distance of the theatre.
This is my most favourite hotel in Melbourne. I go to Melbourne with either my daughters or friends and alway have a great experience staying here. The staff are helpful and fantastic and make you feel very welcome.
We chose to stay here because of the close proximity to the cabaret we were attending. When we arrived we were not only surprised to have an upgrade on our room, but having arrived to our room there was a bottle of bubbly and some chocolate treats. Friendly professional service, we would gladly recommend this hotel and will definitely be choosing it again for our next city stay.
Efficient & friendly staff, good food, good location, clean room, co-operation with check-in/out times all made the stay enjoyable. About the sixth or seventh stay over many years. There must be some good reason to keep staying here.
It is not in the middle of it, but in close proximity to Victoria market and free CBD tram zone. It is also just around the block from major car rental places in central Melbourne. This time we stayed at their smallest apartment. It was quite nice to have a separate bedroom from the sitting room for once. Layout is a bit unpractical as bathroom and bedroom doors are in conflict at all times, a wheel chair user would find it difficult there for example. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and in our opinion this would rank among the best ibis properties we have experienced so far. Reception/ check-in/ check-out was friendly, helpful, quick and smooth. Will consider this property on our future visits to Melbourne.
