What a great place from the welcome on the front desk, via the colourful lobby including rocking chairs and good music. Amazing breakfast. Nice bar, Great location. Just once complaint - lumpy pillows.
Ibis Stare Miasto offers a very good value for money balance. Rooms are spacy, well-designed, well equipped. Even the desk is a real thing you can actually use, which in many hotels I stayed is just a useless nuisance. Room was fresh, clean and so was the spacious bathroom. Everyday complimentary bottled water. Useful facilities like an ironing room, children's play corner. Front office staff is very professional, yet friendly, reliable and willing to help. Conference facilities and refreshments are very good. Point of concern: communication with the restaurant/ kitchen staff about vegetarian meals. Tip: For a longer (group) stay, make sure you clearly agree on the menu to avoid boring repetition. Breakfast buffet is fabulous, both variety and taste!
Just off the edge of the Old Town, it is ideally placed to walk in and the bar area has been improved over last year Reception staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble - eg recutting key cards, arranging taxis to airport ( at 03.00 ) Taxi fare 55/60 zl
The hotel rooms were very clean and it was easy to get around from the hotel. However the customer service was not very good. The first answer was always no. We paid extra to get an early check in. Once there we were told no rooms were available and we would not get a refund. After insisting he double check and a room was ready. On our third night in the middle of the night the air conditioner started making very loud noise even when closed. We asked for another room, we were first told no rooms were available... Five minutes later we got a call saying their was a room in the end... but we'd have to return to our original room in the morning...
My stay in the hotel was very comfortable. the room was clean. Location is wonderful - close to the place of the conference and to Stare Miasto/ The only thing that erritated me was the absence of the kettle in the room.
Everything was fine in the hotel except that the lightbulbs did not work in the bathroom. It is clean, quiet, very good location. I took the room without breakfast, but the á la carte restaurant of the hotel had some good food to offer even late in the evening.
We arrived late but had pre-checked, so check-in was a breeze. Clean room, beds OK, friendly staff, good breakfast. Fine for a short stay. When arriving by car, not easy to find way to temporary parking places behind the hotel - no signage at all.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were ok and reasonably priced. Room was standard Ibis room. Always plenty of hot water. Could do with more English programmes on tv or not dubbing films. Ten minutes walk to the old town
Basis hotel in a reasonable location. WiFi was useless in all areas of the hotel. Staff unable to help. Finally got reception in the castle square (free WiFi.) Would not recommend it for a stay of more than a day or so.
The rooms are equipped rather sparsely. We stayed in a room on the 6th floor which was really noisy so that it was hard to get some sleep at night. After the first Night we were able to change to an other room without any difficulty, the staff was very courteous.
Great experience. Only suggestion would be that they start putting away breakfast too soon. Guests are still eating and they are putting the food away. Very clean and staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
I've stayed at the Ibis Warszawa Stare Miasto many times because its' convenient for my business stay needs, it's proximity to the Old Town and nearby parks and paths to run and unwind after a busy day. There's on site parking and good Wi-fi . Comfortable and clean rooms. Staff are attentive and friendly and the bar and restaurant are good choices if you don't have time to explore. Rooms on the main street side get more traffic noise. During my stay the hotel was very busy with tour groups which made the normally relaxed breakfast experience sub -optimal. Overall an enjoyable stopover.
This was the perfect hotel for me on a solo pleasure trip to Warsaw. It was very handy to the midcity, with bus and tram very close by. The room was light and spacious and the staff jolly and helpful, always fulfilling the pledge to solve every problem in 15 minutes or less. The relaxed bar and lots of nooks with places to sit--missing in many hotels these days--were a lovely amenity. The computers for guests were extremely helpful.
Location was great as it is walkable to Stare Miasto yet in a quiet neighbourhood away from all the hustle and bustle. The bus stop right in front of the hotel was a great plus. Staff was helpful and great. Especially Darek who give very clear and detailed directions when asked. Room is cleaned everyday and that is good for me.
This hotel has a good location, modern amenities and provides excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again. From check in to my room being serviced to the breakfast, all aspects of my stay were very good.
Hotel ultra convenient for transport and city centre, staff extremely helpful. Breakfast menu only adequate, dining room a bit bleak. We were able to get hot sandwiches at 11.05 pm from a busy barman.
The staff wasn't helpful at all. I checked myself online and queued in at the 'Internet check-in" lane to pick the keys yet none was serving customers on this lane, prompting me to come over to a standard service queue, nullifying the whole purpose of using Internet check-in. The staff were not helpful at all, no courtesy nor informative. Accorhotels need to train their staff on hospitality and customer service. The room wasn't cleaned at all. The room was full of dust and walked into a toilet that had been used but NOT flushed, proving the room hadn't been cleaned before assigning to me. Yet the worst was the stingy odour coming from fifth floor corridor. Not a pleasant stay at all. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
I like to stay there - nice location :) Close to the Old City, good communication by tram with shopping centre and theatres. I hope to stay there again. Rooms are clean, but a bit old fashioned. Think about it.
The hotel is not placed in the old town, more like the outskirts, but that's not realy relevant. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is clean with nice bathrooms and beds. The breakfast is good to, but I missed boiled eggs and cold milk. There's always one or two taxis waiting outside, no need to pre book.
location os perhaps ok for summer when the old town would be busy. otherwise you are away from the centre. The staff are representatve of the warsaw people themselves - not very friendly and really you would not want to be in trouble and needing help here
